The World Robot Conference 2023 (WRC 2023) will be held in Beijing from August 16 to 22, at which cutting-edge achievements and the latest robot industry exhibits will be unveiled, the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) said Tuesday at a press conference.
Since 2015, the seven sessions of the World Machinery Congress have been held in Beijing, with high standards, high-level academic exchanges and industrial cooperation, and fruitful results. According to incomplete statistics, the conference has won the support of 25 international institutions, formed more than 50 conference results, attracted more than 1,000 companies from 17 countries to participate in more than 3,000 exhibits, more than 1,600 people from 27 countries at home and abroad top experts and scholars to share cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements, 100,000 players to participate in the competition. More than 1.2 million people attended the exhibition, and more than 400 domestic and foreign media carried out comprehensive, professional and in-depth coverage. It has become a platform for scientific and technological exchanges and industrial cooperation to promote the high-quality development of robots and intelligent equipment.
The World Robot Conference 2023 is co-sponsored by the Beijing Municipal People‘s Government, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the China Association for Science and Technology. With the theme of "Sharing the Future with Open innovation", the conference consists of three sections: forum, exhibition and competition, focusing on the cutting-edge trends of robot technology and industry, exchanging academic views, and displaying multiple scenarios of robot innovation and application to empower thousands of industries. Carry out high-level brain-computer interface, man-machine cooperation competition, and strive to build a robot industry event covering government, industry, education, research, finance, service and use. In previous years, it has three characteristics: outstanding technology leadership, emphasis on industrialization, and expansion of international circle of friends. The conference plans to release the "China Robotics Technology and Industry Development Report", the 2023 World Robot Conference SARA Academic Conference Proceedings, and the Beijing robot industry development support policy, in order to better build consensus and enable high-quality development of robots.
